A Meaningful Life

What is the meaning of our lives? Why are we here? Is there more to this thing called life? Or is it just a continuous drifting in the ocean without meaning or purpose. Has life become just about consuming more and more things?
Let's take a look at our day to day routine. We wake up, take a shower, brush our teeth, get dressed, wake everyone else up, eat breakfast, run out the door, go to work, work all day, go home cook dinner, do homework, watch television, play games, pat the dog, read e-mails, check your Facebook or Myspace, go to bed and wake up and do it all over again. Hope you noticed that the last sentence went on and on and on.

I know that "Our Heavenly Father" had more purpose for us than this routine we've got going on.
We need to seek the true purpose for our lives. We can start by having quiet times with ourselves and asking some questions out loud, "What is the purpose of my life? How should I be living from day to day? We should continue this process daily until we get an answer.

TURN OFF THE NEW'S (ALL NEWS'S)! THINK FOR YOURSELF.
Don't let other people think for you. Go eat lunch by yourself. Spend time outdoors by yourself. I promise you that you will get the answers you need from your heavenly Father. He is just waiting to give you the answer to those questions. And my friend when you hear the answer, take it and run with it.

What you hear may not be conventional wisdom. Your friends may think you have lost you way. But I say unto you "IF GOD SAID IT THAT SETTLES IT"

GENESIS 32:24-29
And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. 29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
"BE LIKE JACOB AND WRESTLE UNTIL YOU GET YOUR ANSWER".
